Credentialing
As a delegated credentialing entity, CRPHO has access to several benefits that individual or group practices cannot obtain on their own.
A significant benefit is that providers only need to fill out one credentialing application versus completing one for each contracted payer. This saves significantly on administrative time and cost.
The CRPHO has obtained a delegated credentialing designation from every payer. This allows for provider applications to be expedited through the verification and loading process. Ultimately this ensures timely reimbursement for medical providers. CRPHO undergoes credentialing provider file audits by the payers every year. These audits have been successfully completed with a score of 99% for the last 15 years.
The CRPHO follows all National Committee for Quality Assurance and URAC guidelines for credentialing.
